If you’re visiting Independence Hall, check out Elfreth’s Alley nearby —narrow, historic, oldest continuously occupied residential street in the country. And the Philadelphia Museum of Art (Rocky statue to the side, not on the top of the steps as in the movie ). The permanent collection is amazing, I particularly like the giant statue of Diana as you enter (formerly atop the old Madison Square Garden), and the oil painting of “The Harem Guard / Moorish Chief” by Eduard Charlemont, the architectural rooms (cloisters, Japanese).

I had quite a few work trips to Philly in 2014 & 2015. It’s a great town to visit!

Totally agree, the only thing I don’t like about Jim’s is forever wreaking like a cheese steak after standing in line for one.
